H.E. Alexander Williams

Jamaican High Commissioner to the United Kingdom

His Excellency Alexander Williams has served as Jamaica’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom since October 2023. An attorney-at-law of more than thirty years’ standing and a former President of the Jamaican Bar Association, he served as a Senator from 2012 to 2016 and has chaired several national institutions, including the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission. As Jamaica’s senior representative in the UK, his priorities include deepening diaspora engagement and strengthening commercial and investment ties between the two nations.

H.E. Alicia Herbert OBE

British High Commissioner to Jamaica

Her Excellency Alicia Herbert OBE has been British High Commissioner to Jamaica since September 2025, and is one of the first UK Heads of Mission born in the Caribbean to be posted to the region. Before her appointment she served as the UK’s Director of Education, Gender and Equalities and as Special Envoy for Gender Equality at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. She is focused on building a modern UK–Jamaica partnership, with priorities spanning education, gender equality and inclusive economic growth.

Nathaniel Peat

Multi-award-winning entrepreneur & adviser

Nathaniel Peat is a British-Jamaican social entrepreneur, engineer and international speaker. He is the founder of The Safety Box, a youth-development and violence-prevention organisation, and Co-Founder of GeNNex Solar, a renewable-energy company operating across East Africa and the Caribbean. An Honorary Fellow of Brunel University and Co-Founder of the EY Foundation, he served as the Global Jamaica Diaspora Council Representative for the South of the UK, advising Jamaica’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade on investment, trade and sustainable development.

Khori Hyde

Business development & diaspora engagement leader

Born in St. Ann, Jamaica and based in the UK, Khori Hyde is a serial entrepreneur focused on connecting the diaspora with opportunity in Jamaica. He is the founder and brand director of BritJam, a UK–Jamaica festival staged in Montego Bay, and founder of BuyingPropertyJamaica.com, which helps members of the diaspora invest in Jamaican property. A Business Development Lead at VM Group and a founding regional director of Jamaicans Inspired UK, he is a committed advocate for youth empowerment and education across both countries.
